My adventures with Superman S03E01

Finally, new episodes! Two years since the last one. Dang. The baby that was sleeping on me when I watched season 2 is now a chatty, opinionated toddler.

I thought the cut from the opening (Kara's sad "who am I") to the anime style intro, to Jimmy and Kara happily filming a Flamebird video was a bit odd/jarring.

This version of Clark is a sweetheart, but I'm crossing my fingers he gets to have some awesome Superman moments this season too, and not just be cute or slammed into walls. 

There was basically no plot this episode, just a lot of setup. 

This is apparently still a very "don't think too hard about it" kinda show, where Clark and Kara are super relaxed about their secret identities, but it's more for the sake of a fun show.

Not too keen on Superman and Supergirl's new suits. They both got new suits at the end of season 2, but those got a lot of hate from the fans, so they have yet another design in this season. I liked Kara's previous one way better, without the skirt. The skirt looks like a layer too many. And Superman's previous one was nicer too, if you'd skipped the dumb shoulders. I like the different shades of blue, and it's a great looking trunks-less suit.

The season 3 suits. 

And the suits from season 2 that were seen only in this one scene I think.
