My main fandoms

• I'm a huge Superman fan. Since I don't know anyone who shares this very nerdy interest, I have written a lot about it. 
• I used to love Smallville, but I made that a completely separate tag. Explained why here.
• I fell completely in love with The Sandman after watching the Netflix show in 2022.
• I had Doctor Who on the brain from around 2011 to 2014. The 11th Doctor in particular was my favourite.

Me & the blog

I've been geeking out over slightly unconventional, nerdy stuff most of my life. My friends and family could only handle having their ears talked off for so long, so I created this blog to vent some excitement. I'm still a "huge dork" (According to my partner - lovingly!) today, but there's more likely to be long gaps between "fixations" now. Sometimes I might surface and write A LOT, then suddenly go quiet for a while.

I used to blog in Norwegian in the beginning, but it's kind of clunky to apply Norwegian grammar to names of alien races in sci-fi etc. So I eventually switched to English. It's been good practice over the years.

Some older posts have been deleted because of cringe. I also go back and edit my favourite posts occasionally, for similar reasons. But I try to maintain the general idea of what I originally wrote.

The name of the blog means "The Phantom Zone" (from the Superman comics) in Norwegian.

And just to fill in some further blanks about me: I'm female, millennial, lived in the UK for several years, and a mum of one.
