Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow

I've had the comic in my kindle app for some time, but only got around to finishing it now, inspired by the release date of the Supergirl movie being just around the corner. That was a very nice read! I actually managed to sit down and just read, and not be constantly distracted by other things. The art was gorgeous, and the story was good too. Now I really want more comics to read.

The journey from powerless, ship-less Kara to finally having travelled far enough to reach a yellow sun was cool.

The slight "Superman bashing" (about his stay at that planet with the kryptonite sun) was kinda fun, rather than a full-on "we need to push Superman down to make Kara seem cooler" that I feel like they've done in some other media.

Very cool take on Kara's backstory. Cool take on her character. The drunkenness and cursing at the start is something that hasn't been done before I think?

Going to be interesting to see how much of this is adapted into the movie.
