Superman (2025) teaser trailer thoughts
Superman | Official Teaser Trailer was released yesterday. My initial reaction was kinda "...eeeeeeh? 😄". On one hand I'm very happy that this seems to be going for more colour and positive, sort of quirky vibes. On the other hand, I have a sneaking suspicion that this might swing too far in that direction and be too whimsical. I'm so hard to please. 😆 The DCEU was too dark and bleak. All-star Superman (for example) was way too "odd" for me. I'm also not a big fan of the old Christopher Reeve films, and I hope they keep the references to that to a minimum. I'm also a tiny bit sceptical since this is James Gunn, as I'm not the biggest fan of Guardians of the Galaxy. My main issue with GOTG might be Drax and the "dumb" part of the humour. If we skip that or tone it way down in this film then maybe we'll be ok. In summary: Yay: It's so bright and colourful! Clark looks noticeably different from Superman. Well done! I LOVE ...
