Some more Superman (2025) thoughts

Love this image so much! The face! The colours!

I just watched this Behind The Scenes Look, and had some thoughts:

• The cape. Omg. I love the cape. It makes no sense to have a cape. But dang does it look cool. Actually kinda liked the wool look to it that they showed at the end. Makes no sense to have a wool cape either, but - shrug. The way it swishes behind him as he walks in right at the start of the video 👌
• Loving David Corenswet's look as Superman more and more. Love the voice, love the hair, love the face!
• I'm still firmly in the "trunks suck" club. I hope they don't mention them at all in the actual film. Found it awkward how they were mentioned here. Don't draw attention to them. You've gone this route, so own it. Don't even slightly make it seem like you're unsure about it.

Other:

• I actually love this version of the S shield more and more. It actually makes sense to have it look a bit less like an actual S, if it's meant to be the El family crest. It's bright, it's bold, it gives that Superman vibe right away. If I have to nitpick I would have added a tiny something at the bottom to be the bottom of the S. But not a big deal.
• Whyy is this and The Sandman season 2 being released at the same time! My brain is wired to obsess intensely about one thing at a time.
