Matt Smith has been confirmed as the Doctor for another season!

I guess I saw it coming, but I'm really happy anyway! Matt is my favorite Doctor, and I want him to do at least as many episodes as David did. But still, I'm hoping for some changes:

I do like Amy and Rory a lot, but I kind of feel like their time is up after season 6. At least as the main companions. But It would be nice if they could pop up in one episode or two.

It could be an idea that a young River could be the new main companion. But her story is so complicated, so maybe it's smarter to go for someone new. I do like River, but I'm not sure if that's the way to go. And I know a lot of fans of the show dislike her.
